KICK-OFF ON SITE
Starting a new project on site sounds like a good idea, especially with local teams. It’s always better to talk face to face, particularly if we want to build real partnership with good relations and deep understanding of each other’s needs and values. Scheduling a 2-day onsite kick-off is beneficial for planning and gaining insight into the partnering organization.
KICK-OFF WITH AGILE PEOPLE
Even if we don't have a full agile team, starting the project with someone who can support the process flow is very useful. The agile person or team will help during planning, outcome analysis and retrospective review.
KICK-OFF WITH PRODUCT OWNER
Since the product owner is usually on the customer side while developers work for the contractor, it’s super-important to organize a brief but effective meeting so all parties can get acquainted and establish expectations and share the vision.
