The Perstorp Group is a world leader in several sectors of the specialty chemicals market for a wide variety of industries and applications. Perstorp needed to create a joint website for the Perstorp Group, structured according to its market segments. There was also a need for consistency of visual identity between the analogue and digital communication channels in order to support the organisation's mission and vision.
There was fragmentation of the website portfolio, with independent satellite sites that needed to be gathered under a joint umbrella, from both technical and visual perspectives. This had led to inconsistencies in the presentation of the entire product portfolio with regard to market segmentation.
Perstorp wanted a world-class professional website to be able to communicate its position as a world leader in the specialty chemicals market. It sought a reliable partner, for both the technology and the creative work, to develop a modern user experience.
Cybercom delivered a unified website based on the latest Sitecore version, allowing for future enhancements in the areas of digital marketing and insight-driven development. The digital guidelines created for the visual identity were applied to the website and will also be used by Perstorp in future development of digital communication channels.
Cybercom provided Perstorp with strategy, concept development, digital graphical guidelines, development and rollout of the new site, followed by operation and management.
The use of an agile project model allowed a flexible and customer-centred process that handled a changing landscape and new opportunities.
The initial project was won because Cybercom has repositioned from a technical supplier to a credible turnkey full-service supplier, including advisory and UX capabilities. After the initial award of the project, Cybercom has been entrusted with operations and further development, and also with other strategic opportunities such as business analysis, Google analytics training, web analytics and user experience activities.
