Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) announced finally yesterday their fifth Region in Europe, first in the Nordics and located in Sweden. Cybercom announced already earlier in September a strategic collaboration with AWS as a format of Cybercom AWS Business Group (CABG) to help mid-sized companies, enterprises and public sector organizations accelerate their journey to the cloud and boost their digital transformation. We are one of the selected go-with partners to AWS in the Nordics.
The CABG will be focusing on leverage the benefits of the new launched AWS Europe (Stockholm) Region, delivering low-latency cloud services as well as allowing customers to store their data in the Nordics, overcoming any data sovereignty issues they might have.

How Cybercom is helping companies and organizations in their cloud adoption?
We have over 20 years of experience of hosting services. On top of that, we have been an AWS partner since 2012, which gives us a strong foundation to design, build, migrate and operate many different workloads on AWS.
The CABG will use the AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS recommended best practices for secure and scalable infrastructure to realize the full potential of cloud-based services. AWS have also dedicated people to support Cybercom and our customers, and we are excited to develop and deepen our existing relationship with AWS into the next level.
Where are you today?
Cybercom is an AWS Advanced Partner and has over 90 AWS certified professionals in the Nordics, serving a growing AWS client base in their transition to the cloud. As an add-on we have over 150 DevOps specialists and software developers leveraging the AWS platform in daily basis in their projects.
We are also an official next generation and audited AWS Managed Services Provider and a DevOps Competence Partner and will do more AWS competencies in the future.
With our Innovation Zone, which is Cybercom’s hub for development and innovation where employees, clients and partners can all test ideas, develop prototypes and run pilot projects in an ultra-creative environment, the AWS infrastructure and services are used as a preferred platform for new innovations. What’s happening in the future?
We have good growth with-in our AWS related business and we are expecting even more rapidly increasing market demand for AWS competence in coming years, especially in Sweden. The new AWS Stockholm Region will only make this journey more exciting.
Market demand of skilled AWS specialists is growing fast as more organisations and enterprises are investing in enhancing their digital services. We have the target to have 500 AWS certified consultants helping Nordic enterprises and organization in the next three years.
