Cybercom signs new major framework agreement

2010-04-16, 11:15
Cybercom signed a key new framework agreement with TeliaSonera to globally deliver IT services. The two-year agreement is in effect now and has a one-year extension option.

“This strategic framework agreement with TeliaSonera is crucial for Cybercom,” says Patrik Boman, president and CEO of the Cybercom Group. “Competition to enter into framework agreements is intensifying as operators reduce their number of framework suppliers. A key factor behind TeliaSonera’s continued confidence in Cybercom is our global delivery capacity.”

Cybercom is well equipped to staff projects in China and India with highly qualified personnel at competitive prices. Cybercom’s long experience in the telecom industry played a crucial role, together with the company’s expertise and broad experience with other telecom operators.

“This show of renewed confidence is very gratifying,” says Håkan Gillman, business segment director at Cybercom Sweden East. “As a framework partner, we gain a fantastic opportunity to develop future services and IT solutions with TeliaSonera.”

Cybercom specializes in integration, application management, and development of IT systems for telecom. The framework agreement runs from 1 April 2010 until 1 April 2012, with a one-year optional extension. Cybercom's operations in China, Denmark, Finland, India, and Sweden are affected. TeliaSonera is one of Cybercom’s key customers and the companies have a long-running partnership.
