”This is initially a fairly small transaction for Cybercom, but it is strategically important and we envisage potential to expand our cooperation with the councils,” says Christoffer Backman, a sales representative for ECM solutions at Cybercom.
The deal is one of the larger e-archive management procurements conducted in Sweden as sub-orders through the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency for e-archiving support services 2010. It includes the county councils in Uppsala, Dalarna, Gävleborg, Sörmland, Värmland, Västermanland and Örebro.
“Public sector clients are increasingly demanding turnkey services and assignments. Cybercom’s framework agreement with the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency is providing us with more and more business. We expect the number of sub-contracts to double in 2012,” says Pär Abelson, responsible for the public sector segment at Cybercom.
The county councils chose Cybercom since this was the most cost-effective and high-quality solution. Signifikant will be a subcontractor to Cybercom on this project. Signifikant’s Open E-Archiving Framework (OEF) solution is designed as a framework in which various customer demands can be met using the same solution. The OEF solution is built for archiving based on the principle that all archive clients have their own unique needs.
“This transaction demonstrates the value of cooperation between Cybercom and Signifikant. Cybercom has a broad offering to the public sector. Signifikant has a high-quality solution for e-archiving and management services with a focus on openness and collaboration,” says Mattias Löfstrand, CEO at Signifikant.
