The customer outsourced the development of a next generation radio base station test bench to Cybercom 2008. Now, an extended contract is signed for further development and maintenance to be outsourced to Cybercom’s operations in Gothenburg, Sweden and Łódź, Poland.
“Our global sourcing model has been a decisive ingredient in our discussions with the customer”, says Dan Dehlén, account manager at Cybercom. “We will be able to deliver a smooth transition that will generate major cost savings as well as ensuring quality for our customer”.
Cybercom will assist in securing the quality of the new, efficient and compact radio base stations that are developed to meet the extensive expansions of mobile broadband.
“We're proud to receive this proof of trust from an international telecom player,” says Magnus Andersson, managing director of Cybercom in Gothenburg. “For more than 10 years Cybercom has been running sophisticated embedded system projects in house. Throughout the years, a range of domestic and international customers have gained from our ability to develop systems with analogous and digital hardware as well as embedded and application software. These factors, along with our WCDMA baseband and test bench knowledge in this particular case, make us a reliable partner.”
“Cybercom has the processes and experience to ensure a seamless transfer”, says Piotr Ciski, managing director of Cybercom Poland. “Together with our colleagues in Gothenburg we will be able to provide long term quality and efficiency in our delivery as well as cost savings. We will make sure that our customer will be more than satisfied.”
