When banks go mobile, Cybercom is there showing them how. Cybercom has developed a mobile banking application for one of the biggest financial institutions in the Nordics.

“This is an immensely exciting project that places great demands on the entire chain surrounding a mobile service that includes everything from design to security and performance,” says Johan Persbeck, who is heading up the project at Cybercom. “Cybercom’s years of experience with developing global mobile solutions have been decisive for a successful result.”

The mobile banking solution Cybercom designed for the customer works on thousands of mobiles through the phone’s web browser. The solution also includes Android and iPhone applications.

“Everything we do is about making daily life easier for people and businesses,” says Magnus Lagerqvist, account manager for the banking sector at Cybercom. “One area in which there is a lot left to do is handling daily financial activities. Since it’s now possible to create easy to use mobile services, it’s natural for us to build and equip the financial world and others with these solutions.”

In the mobile banking service Cybercom developed, customers can transfer money between their own accounts and the accounts they have registered in the internet bank. It is also possible to open and close bank cards to internet and foreign purchases. The Android and iPhone applications have been well-received by the market.
