The secrets of MWC 2017

Mobile world congress is one of my favorite events of the year and following it from year to year you notice the underlying change and the most apparent trends each year are often not the once giving the biggest impact to companies when developing their business and product strategies right now.

When it comes to the secretes I often try to find trends which will give an impact to my clients. This year we formulated three areas which I will illustrate below:

  • Artificial intelligence & machine learning for everybody
  • Augmented Reality coming alive
  • Robotics (and drones) everywhere

Key takeaway MWC17

In my professional life the MWC trade fair, this year in Barcelona, is the industry highlight.  In this industry the majority of us have, with jealous feelings, read and seen information published by this fair, and we have tried to understand and feel the pulse of what will happen in the market.

Finally I can talk about the result of my work, building customer value in the connected world!

In business advisory we work with how digitalization and Internet of Things transform companies and how they should capture the opportunities. When we formulate the clients’ new customer value we have a number of different typical assignments, from building the vision and strategy to defining new services and validating the leap of faith assumptions for the service.

Leader's Guide vs Sprint

So for me, I enjoyed both books and will take with me several things that I will use in my day to day work, but the book with the biggest value will most likely be the Leader's guide, as you get the help to systematize the approach and scale it within your company.
